After avoiding damage for a short period, Kaien gains increased movement speed. His next basic attack against an enemy champion deals bonus damage. Taking damage removes the movement bonus and resets the preparation period.

Character abilities
Blink Slash
Kaien dashes a short distance and strikes enemies along his path. If Blink Slash damages an enemy champion, he may reactivate the ability once within a brief window to dash in a different direction. The second dash deals reduced damage.
Shadow Mark
Kaien marks an enemy champion for a limited duration. He deals bonus damage when attacking the marked target, and the marked enemy is briefly revealed whenever Kaien damages them.
Vanish
Kaien becomes stealthed for a short duration and gains increased movement speed. Attacking or taking significant direct damage ends the effect. Vanish is for repositioning, flanking, and disengaging rather than permanent invisibility.
Deathblade
Kaien rapidly strikes enemies within a targeted area, moving between nearby targets. Each strike deals physical damage and the final strike deals increased damage to the primary target. It is strongest against isolated targets.

THE STORY
The Silent Edge
Kaien was once a royal shadow trained to end wars before they began. He served rulers who believed silence was the cleanest weapon and that the most dangerous battles were the ones the enemy never realized had started. Over time, Kaien witnessed the corruption of the people he had sworn to protect. Orders became executions, protection became control, and loyalty became obedience. Kaien abandoned his title and disappeared into the darkness he had once served. Now he works alone, hunting threats before they can grow powerful enough to endanger others. He does not seek recognition or glory. Kaien appears where the enemy feels safest, strikes only where it matters, and disappears before retaliation can begin. To Kaien, the perfect victory leaves nothing behind but silence.
