Whenever an enemy champion damages an Echo Mask, Echovar gains Insight. At maximum Insight, his next damaging ability becomes empowered. Insight expires if unused for too long.
Echovar slashes forward while the nearest Echo performs a matching slash. Normally only Echovar deals full damage. At maximum Insight, both slashes become real, though the second hit deals reduced damage.
Echovar selects an active Echo Mask and swaps positions with it after a short delay. A false version briefly remains at the abandoned position, creating a window for misdirection.
Echovar marks a line between himself and one Echo Mask. After a delay, a razor-thin mirror fracture appears along the line, damaging and briefly slowing enemies who cross it. An empowered version may rotate once.
Echovar creates a mirrored combat zone. Original Echo Masks generate additional visual reflections, Echovar may swap with original Echoes, attack animations appear from several angles, and Broken Angle gains new connection options. Only clearly defined attacks deal real damage, and destroying original Echoes sharply reduces the Ultimate’s power.
THE STORY
Echovar comes from the Mirrorborn, a people whose world formed around a dimension where reflections sometimes existed before the objects that created them. To the Mirrorborn, a reflection is not merely an image. It is another possibility, another angle, another path reality could have taken. Echovar became a master of navigating these possibilities. He learned to leave fragments of himself behind, attack from the wrong direction, and force enemies to respond to threats that were never real. During the collapse of his home realm, Echovar survived by splitting his presence between several mirrored spaces at once. When he returned, those reflections never completely disappeared. Now fragments of Echovar constantly move around him like unfinished versions of the same person. Some are illusions. Some briefly become real. He fights by convincing opponents that they understand where he is, then proving them wrong.
