Khezzra periodically generates a Broodling charge. Her abilities can deploy Broodlings that provide small vision, attack nearby enemies, expire after a limited duration, and can be destroyed. Only a limited number may exist at once.
Khezzra sends several Broodlings toward a target area. Near enemies, they spread out and attack. Near an allied Hero, part of the swarm instead circles that ally and grants a small temporary defensive bonus.
Khezzra attaches a living chitin shell to an allied Hero, granting a temporary shield. When it breaks or expires, a small swarm emerges and briefly slows nearby enemies.
Khezzra releases a cloud of dark winged insects across an area. Enemies inside have reduced vision range. Broodlings inside move faster and become harder to target.
Khezzra creates a temporary Hive Nest that continuously produces Broodlings. Nearby allies gain minor movement speed, minor shield regeneration, and increased slow resistance. Enemies can attack and destroy the Nest.
THE STORY
Khezzra was born within a Hive that existed long before its enemies learned to fear it. The Chrysalid Hiveborn do not build kingdoms. They build living colonies. Walls grow, tunnels breathe, and weapons hatch. Khezzra was different from the Broodlings beneath her. She could think beyond instinct. She could command. She understood the battlefield as an ecosystem rather than a collection of individual enemies. Where others saw soldiers, Khezzra saw territory. Where others saw structures, she saw nesting ground. Her swarm follows her not because it has been trained, but because every Broodling recognizes her as part of the Hive itself. Khezzra surrounds enemies, restricts vision, fills safe ground with living threats, and lets the Hive slowly close around them.
